Great Lakes Bluejackets Scrapbook : scrapbook, 1943 - 1945.

A collection of newspaper articles relating to the Great Lakes Naval baseball team from Illinois. Game accounts and box scores predominantly from the 1943 season. The Bluejackets played against the Peru Merchants, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees, Notre Dame and All-Stars. There was also a Great Lakes Negro Baseball team, played against the Cincinnati Clowns of the Negro American League. Bob Feller is named head of the baseball team in March 1945.
